Daoist Rituals and Magic (道法科) refer to the sacred practices and ceremonial methods used in Daoism to communicate with the divine, balance energies, and restore harmony between Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. These include rituals (such as offerings, invocations, and purifications), magical tools (like talismans, incantations, and ritual implements), and healing techniques rooted in spiritual energy.
To Taoists, rituals and magic are not mere superstition—they are powerful methods for aligning with the Dao, invoking divine forces, and serving the community. Rituals express reverence to the celestial hierarchy, while magical practices are used to heal, protect, and transform both individuals and environments. These practices embody Daoist principles of balance, resonance, and sacred duty, playing a vital role in religious service, spiritual cultivation, and cultural preservation.
